Speak Now For Kids
President Obama has national health care reform on the top of everyone’s mind. It is important that advocates speak up to voice the needs of children during this health care reform debate. There are no better voices to represent the needs of children in health care reform than those of parents, family members, physicians, educators, and those who care for kids.
Speak Now for Kids in Health Reform is a national campaign sponsored by the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutes (NACHRI), and is joined by national partners and supporting organizations, who want to have a say in the way children will be treated in health reform. “Speak Now for Kids” provides an open forum for the public to express their thoughts and concerns about children and health reform. Parents, family members, health care providers and other advocates are urged to tell Congress why children matter in health reform – through stories, photos and videos.
Miller Children’s and 100 other children’s hospitals around the country, want to provide those who care about children and health care reform, a communications platform to voice their opinions to Congress.
