The Long Beach Ronald McDonald House (LBRMH) will feature a family pavilion with an open-air courtyard and an inviting living room with a fireplace and comfortable seating area. As with any home, it will include a spacious kitchen, dining room and pantry.

For young family members, there will be a children’s room and a quiet reading loft. A fully-equipped computer room will enable families to stay in touch with loved ones and serve as an invaluable online resource center.

The new design creates Family Gardens that will provide a welcome respite for families spending long hours indoors at their child’s bedside.

The gardens will offer a park-like setting for families to play, dine or find quiet reflection. The 4,350 square foot green-space will include a tot lot playground, a barbeque area, dining patio and a healing garden-sanctuary.
