Founded in 2009 with the motto of “a New Generation of Giving”, the YPA purpose is to engage community members under age 55 with Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach. YPA members annually support the purchase of needed equipment for the children’s hospital. Programs and activities are fun and social and designed for the lifestyle of younger professionals wanting to give back to their community.
The Young Professional’s Association (YPA) is looking for members under the age of 55 to help lend philanthropic support and engage community members in the needs of Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach. This year, YPA is fundraising for laptops, PlayStations® and PlayStation® games for the Child Life Department at Miller Children’s. These items help bring a sense of normalcy to patients during hospitalization.
