The Memorial Medical Center Foundation exists to provide funding to support excellent health care for pediatric patients treated at the community-based Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach. As one of only eight free-standing, not-for-profit children’s hospitals in California, Miller Children’s offers a complete range of primary and specialty care for children of all ages, as well as expectant mothers. Miller Children’s has eight major care centers, including one of the largest neonatal intensive care units (NICU) in the state and outpatient specialty centers that cover more than 30 pediatric specialties. Some of these specialty centers, including the Stramski Children’s Developmental Center and Bickerstaff Pediatric Family Center, are supported in part by philanthropy. The cost of acute pediatric care is costly. Some of these hospital programs and specialty centers would not continue without the help of the Foundation’s philanthropic partners. Thank you for your support.
