The Health Sciences and Parks Medical Libraries provide Long Beach Memorial and Miller Children’s health care professionals and staff with valuable, current and evidence-based information for patient care, education and research. The library is a useful benefit, and a time saving resource, for all physicians and employees.
The library provides access to online and print books and journals, audiovisuals and databases. A combination of authoritative evidence-based, clinical decision support, consumer health, and patient/family information is available 24/7. A professional medical librarian assists with research and provides customized research service and research education opportunities. A library technician coordinates library services, including document delivery and current table-of-contents email delivery. For more details, please see the Library Service Information Guide.
The Parks Medical Library, located on the Ground Floor near the Center for Health Education, is open 24/7. The Health Sciences Library, located in the Van Camp Center, is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information please call (562) 933-3841 or email email@example.com.
