Rotation ScheduleIntern Year PL – 1
Training encompasses all aspects of primary care pediatrics,as well as exposure to sub-specialty patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, where the basics of pediatric management is learned. PL – 1 is a resident-driven program where residents act as the patient’s primary physician. This allows for the sharpening of communications skills, familiarity with procedures, determining appropriate differential diagnoses and solidifying history and physical examination skills. Supervision and teaching are continually provided by experienced faculty with the assistance of senior residents.
