Former Patients and Community Members Celebrate and Honor Miller Children’s Physicians for National Doctors’ Day on March 30

On March 30, Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach is celebrating National Doctors’ Day – a day where once a year we get a chance to celebrate our health care heroes!

In 1958, Doctors’ Day became a nationally recognized event when the U.S. House of Representatives designated March 30 as an annual observance in honor of America’s physicians. While the physicians at Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach are considered heroes each and every day, Miller Children’s wants to honor their life saving and heroic efforts in improving the health of infants, children and adolescents – with a thank you from patients and their families.

Salute Miller Children’s Compassionate Care Champions and write a brief note of appreciation on the “Compassionate Care Card” expressing your gratitude to a specific doctor who went the extra mile for you or your loved one.

Miller Children’s will be sure to deliver these “Compassionate Care Cards” to the doctor recognized on National Doctors’ Day. Give online now in recognition of your doctor and National Doctors’ Day.

Thank you for your compassionate care!
