Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach is unique, because unlike community hospitals with pediatric wings, many of the physicians at Miller Children’s are board-certified/eligible and trained to care for the most acute pediatric cases around-the-clock. Miller Children’s has in-house hospitalists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and perinatalogists 24/7.

Miller Children’s is a major teaching children’s hospital, training the majority of pediatricians, pediatric sub-specialists and surgeons. Miller Children’s is proud to have talented pediatric specialists, who are not only advanced in breakthrough treatments and technologies in their specialty—but also practice with family centered care in mind—and put their young patients and their families first.

The Outpatient Specialty Centers at Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach is a major referral center for outpatient pediatric specialty care, offering more than 30 sub-specialties. 

Miller Children’s has hospital-based outpatient specialty centers and clinics, as well as five satellite centers to serve the community. The satellite centers not only provide convenient access to pediatric specialty care, but also access to the expertise of Miller Children's specialists. Refer a patient to an outpatient clinic.
