Future JJCCC Pediatric-Cancer UnitHelp Us Help Kids Children with cancer and other serious blood disorders need your help. Their current hematology/oncology unit at JJCCC is too small to meet their growing needs. Over the next year, Miller Children's must expand and build out the third floor of the new inpatient pavilion. We are at a critical point, where we can greatly improve the journey children with cancer and serious blood disorders face. This is a tremendous opportunity and along the way you will be helping us change and save lives. Help us lay the ground work for the future. $5M of community support is needed. Share this experience with us. Open letter to friends & family from the Verkaik Family Who Are You Helping Us Build ForFor them.

Each year, the Jonathan Jaques Children's Cancer Center (JJCCC) at Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach treats more than 800 children and adolescents with cancer and serious blood disorders. Yet currently, the pediatric hematology/oncology (hem/onc) unit only has a 14-bed capacity. This is not enough to support the growing needs of the community.
