Whether you’re an expectant mother or have a child with a medical condition, it's vitally important that you continue to seek medical care when you or your child needs it.
We have taken every possible measure to ensure the safety of you and your child under our care. We are experienced and ready to care for all patients, including those who need emergency care.
We understand that you may be concerned about potential exposure to COVID-19. That concern may have prevented you from summoning emergency response treatment by calling 911, or from coming to the Emergency Department. We have implemented specific areas, complete with separate entrances, to treat patients coming in with suspected COVID-19.
We even have dedicated child life specialists in our Emergency Department, who will help make the hospital experience less overwhelming for your child.
If you or your child is experiencing a life-threatening situation, it is vitally important that you access emergency services by calling 911 or going to the nearest Emergency Department. Doing so may literally save a life.
Your doctor has referred your child for a surgery, procedure, or other treatment. In the best interest of their health, it is vitally important that you follow all the recommendations from your child’s physician regarding their upcoming treatment.
We understand that you may have some concerns about potential exposure to COVID-19 if you seek treatment in a hospital or outpatient center. We have taken every precaution in our Surgical Center and Outpatient Specialty Centers in accordance with the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure the safety of our patients, staff and physicians. We place safety above all else, always.
