High Fashion Lends a Helping Hand to Miller Children’s at the Annual Auxiliary Fashion Show |
Even if you aren’t a business owner or part of a big foundation, Miller Children’s appreciates your willingness to get involved. Individual gifts are helpful, but sometimes people may feel they may want to do more than just donate money. Miller Children’s has several fundraising groups, that are good for anyone at any age, whether a novice fundraiser or a fundraising pro, such as: Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach Auxiliary, JJCCC Volunteers, Memorial Women’s Hospital League, SCRUBS and Steel Magnolias. One person does make a difference.
Miller Children’s is also a part of a national fundraising foundation called Together for Kids.
Aside from fundraising, there are many meaningful ways to get involved with Miller Children’s. Donating crayons and paper for patients to use in the playroom, donating new books and toys for sick children to occupy themselves with, volunteering in the hospital and even donating blood all make a difference for the children at Miller Children’s.
No matter how you choose to get involved, your support will make a difference in the lives of young patients.
