Dr. Le-Bucklin is a pediatric hospitalist. She received her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and completed her residency at Stanford University. Before joining the faculty at UC Irvine, she practiced in northern California where she saw patients in the clinic, hospital, and level II NICU. Her academic interests include hospital medicine, medical education, and Internet health information delivery. In her free time she enjoys painting, poetry, Jeet Kune Do and church activities.
Dr. Hicks completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA where she was a Regent's Scholar. She then went to USC for medical school where she graduated AOA. She is currently a senior resident at UCI and looking forward to becoming a chief next year. Dr. Hicks has received the Director's Award and the Resident of the Year award for her outstanding clinical abilities and professionalism. She is actively involved with the AAP and community activities. An avid reader, she makes time to participate in a monthly book club.
Dr. Wong enjoyed her undergraduate years at UC Berkeley and went on to receive her medical degree from Mount Sinai. She is currently a third year resident and is excited to continue on as a future chief with Becky Hicks, M.D. in 2009-2010. Afterwards, she plans to pursue a career in general pediatrics while still maintaining a close mentoring relationship with residents and medical students. Her interests include reading, playing basketball, running, rollerblading and food.
